Spendint helps you to plan and spend within budget each month. You can allocate funds to the expense categories you’ve planned for the month and pay for items through your Spendint wallet. Spendint will help you ensure that you spend on what matters, and prevent you from wasting your hard-earned money on what doesn’t. We provide you with the structure to build the right discipline for true financial freedom.
How do I start with Spendint?
Sign up on the website or web app to create an account. Complete the KYC process, and fund your wallet with the amount you want to allocate for your expenses in the period in view. Create your budget and start monitoring their usage. Use the analytics and insight features to understand key patterns and optimize.
Why do I have to add my BVN?
Your BVN is required to validate your identity and prevent identity theft. This ensures another level of safety for your funds and transactions. It also enables you to get a dedicated NUBAN account number in your name, which you can use to fund your Spendint wallet and make payments.
Are there charges when I fund my Spendint wallet?
No! It’s completely FREE. There are no charges for funding your Spendint wallet.
How does Budget work?
The Budget feature forms the foundation of your financial discipline by helping you to manage your money with clarity and intentionality. You have two(2) FREE budget windows each month, which are the days you can create a budget for free. The FREE budget windows are the first and last 7 days of the month. Creating a budget outside of these windows attracts a late budget fee of 5% of the budget amount. Also, you can create a budget based on the preset Expense categories or add personalized categories at a fixed cost of 100.00 Naira.
